Room mates 3

Once again inspired by one of my friends blog, i am here to complete the room mates series

So there we were in #283, Gundappa Layout, Gottigere... at the final steps of our 4th semester, and Hanumanth had already left the flat and moved with his brother, once he came to Bangalore, and Abhishek Periwal was also about to leave the flat in pursue of BTM or Jayanagar, so either we were to find a new room mate or our individual contri ( one of the term i learnt in Delhi, 2 more words i wud like to mention is Fundoo and Fudoo) would go up, and guess what after few failed trials, we settled on the later one.

But, "One often finds his destiny in the path he takes to avoid it" And Mr. Nilotpal Shankar Mitra was destined for becoming our room mate. "Paul" that was we call him, and that was what he preferred to be called and that too in delectable bengali ascent where somehow all 'a' becomes 'o'.
Paul was my classmate and was staying in some hostel in Jayanagar and had come to our room for studying SnS, when Kunal was struck with the idea of taking him as our room partner... and paul had no problem shifting with us, multiple benefits for both sides. About Paul, he was dumb at studies, but to compensate this he had/has excellent communication skills, and that is the reason he scored many girl friends. And he was always famous for wrong reasons... i don't know why & how he had got the reputation of being "GAY"... sorry paul, but thats the truth, blame it on your old roomie, Dhruv if i am mot wrong about his name. I will come to the other stories about him later on. But i can't resist, mentioning the name of Shilpa (pari for him).

So after 4th semester holiday, Paul was in and Hanumanth and Abhishek were out. By this time, Saurabh Sandilya, my class mate from Central Academy was there in Bangalore and taken admission in some engineering college. I had advised him against taking admission in engineering, seeing his old records in academics and his tendency falling for girls at the drop of hat. He didn't took me seriously as i was high on the pots, and so was he. So unfortunately he took admission, again because of a girl "Aditi" only to fell for another girl. After spending few months in Chotu's(Mrinal Singh) flat, he decided to move in our flat. So we got our final room mate as Saurabh, and the final disaster was there in our room. He was good at study in school days, लेकिन लड़की का चक्कर बाबु भाई, अछे अछे को डूबा देता है | After 10th the only thing in his mind was glamour, but no clamour for such glamour dude. About Saurabh, he was such a lazy ass, no work, no study, but if his girl friend (i don't want to take her name), would ask her to come anywhere, his promptness was a thing to cherish.

No mood to continue this anymore, so the introduction about the room mates is over, and now will come with stories of us. So now beware guys, its time to get a little embarassed.

P.S. : No offence intended.

Room Mates 2

Hello again, its 9:16 am, and Delhi is still under the thick blanket of fog... its cold here and my thoughts are again taking me to Bangalore, the place i love most.

And coming back to my room mates...
Now, since Sonu had become permanent with us, we wanted to move out to somewhat bigger place, where we have a good kitchen and we can get rid of "Bengali mess", the place where we had had our 3 time meal. So we started looking for some better place to move on. In this pursuit, I met my another room mates.

While we were looking for new flat, one of my class mate Hanumant Mensenkai (i hope i have spelled the second name correctly), told he wanted to shift with us, as he was abandoned by his room mate and was staying all alone. It seems luck had turned its back to us, as we were not lucky to find a new room by now, or the another thing was that, we were not very serious about it. And amidst all these, our 2nd semester exam came and we 4 room mates became very busy with our studies, as our expectations were very high, because Kunal, I and Abhishek were amongst the toppers of the college in the previous semester exam, and we wanted to repeat the same for this semester, and indeed, we did that. By the way, one point worth mentioning here, is that we made a perfect example for "How to fall", because we never topped again :) .

After exams, Kunal was back from ranchi, a little earlier and BINGO, he had made the deal for the new room along with Hanumant and one more guy whom i had not known earlier. So here comes my 2 brand new room mates, Hanumant and Srinath Patil, the lungi. Both of them were very naive, they didn't drink, smoke or any bad habits, and on the top of it, they were not bakchods either, though Patil had became one after sometime (sangat ka asar). Apart from being my room mate, Hanumant, was also my lab partner in the 2nd year, and i must say that he was really a cool head. While i always lost my patience, when i was not getting the outputs (the only thing my teachers knew), he was the one, who kept his head calm and kept on twitching the stupid wires and that fucking oscilloscope. Again fortunately or unfortunately he left us, i mean left the flat to shift with his brother, not otherwise, giving way to my another room mates.

About Lungi... :)
As i had told, he was very naive, and was very much like "ever ready guy". Ask him anything, like if he wants to go somewhere, if he wants to eat certain thing, his answer would be "Yes". I can barely recall, if he had said "No" to anything. But हमारी सांगत का असर , he has become a full time bakchod now. He had got his nick name Lungi from the attire he always used to wear, when he was home. He was about to give me a punch in my face once, but thank god it was just his style to make sure that i am scared, i still don't know why the hell he went mad that day.

Confession : As a matter of fact, i was the one who got mad most of the time at everyone, i will come to this later on in a new topic titled "Durgesh ko gussa kyun aata hai". Till then you guys can remind me of the situations i have acted weird. And my apologies to Hanumant, whom i had hurt once, remember that fake birthday bumps :)

So there we were in our new flat, a 2-BHK flat, with 2 toilets, 1 store room and 1 big balcony just for just Rs.4500. I still remember the first party in our room was that of Sonu sharma's b'day, and was funded of course by Sonu :) . I missed the Signature that day, and i am still missing that till now, as after that i never got the chance to taste it, and the blame goes on Kunal & Sonu.

This is it, for the day, just downloaded "The angrej" will enjoy it now.

bye bye

Room mates 1

Hi, This being my first blog, i hope the errors can be overlooked.
So wanted to write something from a long time, but it has become reality only today, and the first people i would like to write about is my room mates... Ass holes

Just after taking admission in the engineering college, i along with my first room mate Kunal Katyayan rented a room in Gottigere, a place near by my college. I knew Kunal from my school days, quite an arrogant person, but a really an intelligent kind of persons who was in love with anything related to computers. After returning to Ranchi, i met another of my old friend, Abhishek Periwal, and fortunately or unfortunately he had taken the admission in the same college as we did... So here comes my second room mate Abhishek Periwal, whom i have known as my school mate and my neighbour since my +2 days , such an ass hole man!!!. He would go to any extent for clearing his accounts with anyone upto the accuracy of 25 paise, a true marwari in every sense.

So I, Kunal and Abhishek started as room mates in a 1-BHK house (we got that quite cheap in Bangalore, considering the situation right here in New Delhi), and every thing was fun for us, except for few altercations between Kunal and Abhishek and sometime even i was invloved. We were partners in most of the things, like we were sharing the same class in our first year, we went together for our brief ragging session in one of our seniors room and as far as i remember we started drinking together as well and all other stuff for which we didn't have any options. Every thing was going fine, and then one day after around 2 months or some, comes the hero, Sonu Sharma, my 4th room partner, a neighbour of our senior from Kokrajhar, Assam. Initially we were not much intrested in keeping him as our room mate, but as per the proposition from Sonu and Balaram Bhaiya, his stay in our flat was supposed to be temporary and he would look for an alternate option very soon. Hence i got a new room mate whose temporary stay became permanent. Sonu Sharma was also a mawari but completely opposite to Mr. Periwal, Kunal katyayan's fast friend by now. Sonu was otherwise okay okay kind of person and a smart guy, but really a irritating element, in hindi a real bakchod, really has the potential to fuck any one's ear. But it was kind of good, because he was the one who kept talking and easing the tense environment.

So we were now 4 room mates in the 1st year of engineering, having a gala time.

After writing these lines, i am really feeling very nostalgic about college days... so this blog thing will continue for a while
P.S. No offence meant.

To be continued...
